It was originally flown by Cdr. Zeb Knott, the Flight Leader for the '59-'61 seasons as the #1 aircraft. It on loan to the Air Zoo from the U.S. Marine Corps Air & Ground Museum, and has been painted as plane #5 for 1st Lt. Tom Jefferson, USMC, who flew as lead solo for the '57 season.

This was one of the original six F-11A's used by the Blues. Tom Bispo (Blue Angel '64-'65)
