The aircraft is on display in the Aviation Historical Park just inside the Main Gate NAS Oceana. It was received in 1998 from Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, Mount Pleasant, SC. and restored it in Blue Angels colors.

F11 141864 as it looked while it was at Patriot's Point Naval and Maritime Museum being restored to Blue Angel colors. Although this aircraft didn't fly with the Blue Angels, it was to be displayed to honor the U.S. Navy and the Blue Angels.

Bob McKeller, the father of John said,"With no markings, the really pretty lines of the F-11 are very obvious."

Here is 141864 at NAAS Chase Field, TX, when she was attached to VT-26. The mission of this Squadron was high altitude tactics and weaponry along with familiarizing new members of the Blue Angels with the F-11.

Note: This F11F-1 was not flown by the Blue Angels. Tom Bispo (Blue Angel '64-'65)
